Contemporary Fire Pits, are pre-made fire pits and are the most common form of fire pits, and can be purchased from our online Alma Outdoor online store.  These are commonly made of precast concrete or metal or a combination of metal table and stone.  They are usually natural gas, propane (LP) or bioethanol.  Wood burning fire pits made of metal are also quite common but under increasing scrutiny due to fire bans and air particulate emissions.  Natural gas and propane burners in these sorts of prefabricated vessels are certified under ANSI (American), CSA (Canadian) and CE (European) standards.
